Deep in the heart of texas: Lucha

The Lucha 8x10 series is a direct byproduct of my original design scheme used in my the 18x24 Deep In The Heart of Texas poster series.

Working with mirrored elements is a way I like to start basic experimenting. Once I had started playing with the color waves, I was reminded lucha libre masks. The composition of the design also reminds me Mexican tissue paper banners.
